The Indiana Dunes National Park has given the Miller area a wonderful holiday gift. After 1 1/2 years of construction the Paul H Douglas Center for Environmental Education at 100 N Lake Street is now open. The new bridge across Lake Street to the large parking lot makes passage easy and safe for pedestrians. Winter hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and starting Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
